MFK-féminin Pluriel-bottle

by Colleen

What is it about a perfume that draws you in? Is it just the scent or the packaging and the story that intrigues. I find myself drawn to scents that are not completely mainstream, perhaps out of the desire to not smell like everyone else.

Féminin Pluriel a new creation from the Maison Francis Kurkdjian, initially seduced my interest with it’s sleek and classic packaging embossed with gold letters. The exterior white box slides open to reveal an inner capsule that unfolds to a gilded interior and it’s classic and elegant bottle.

This timeless scent evolves as you wear it, opening with floral notes of Iris and violet and unfolding into Grasse rose and Egyptian jasmine, lily-of -the valley, and orange blossom with chypre accents and Indonesian patchouli.

A timeless and sophisticated scent to rival even the most renowned fragrance houses. A perfume that leaves me feeling oh so chic and just a little bit French.
