I started this blog in June 2013 as a way to share the magic of makeup and beauty knowledge that I have gathered over 20+ years in the fashion industry. It is my creative outlet and my personal makeup magazine that I enjoy working on immensely!
Starting my career as a model to help pay for my university, I was catapulted into the wild and wonderful world of fashion, departing from Montreal and arriving in Paris via Tokyo, Milan, NY, London and Barcelona.I arrived in time to witness the phenomenon of the Supermodel and to share the runway with such names as Claudia Schiffer and Carla Bruni . I enjoyed a long career of travel and work that eventually lead me to live in Paris, walk some fantastic runways, shoot for gorgeous magazines , meet my husband and finally learn to speak French!
Which brings me to now, in eternally sunny Miami, where I decided to switch sides of the camera and bring my experience to making others beautiful. Being a makeup artist has allowed me to get my creative juices flowing, to collaborate with everyone else on the set and translate ideas into beautiful images. I have been lucky enough to have made up the faces of some very talented people, like Venus Williams for Vogue , Tiger Woods for Nike Golf and Molly Sims, and I continue to work in such gorgeous locations as Isla Morada and Miami Beach. (even if it does mean I must wake up at dawn, it doesn’t feel like work!)
Through this blog, I bring my experience and knowledge of modeling, makeup, and beauty directly to the reader. Giving you beauty and makeup tips, tutorials and product recommendations that come from inside the industry. (and a little moment of fun and escape I hope!)
