Alix Desk

My office is my universe, my cocoon at home. My family knows that this is my PRIVATE spot and that nobody is allowed to use MY computer, I hate that! Going into my stuff and my office is like a crime for me! I know, it sounds crazy, but this is the way it is! I pile up, no I mean I organize, many things as a reminder, little notes written by my children, pictures of my loved ones, gadgets, cute candle pots or Moroccan pots full of pencils and pens, small things that I brought back from holidays…I have a whole life in there.

I need to feel relaxed when I’m at my office, far from all the stresses and strains of everyday life, I need to feel safe! I write my posts there, I think about our development strategy – I should think more about it though… I’ve placed my office next to a huge window to enjoy the sun all day long because sun is my driving force, I’m like a sunflower, I’m always looking for it… So my office is sunny, bright and looks inviting. There’s always a small candle that lights my thoughts and smells good with colors that reflect my taste.

Not long ago, I started a “mood board”, not that I want to work on the next season’s fashion trends but because I want to notice all the little things that have called out to me during my day, little sweet notes that some people write to me! I care a lot about all those nice little things, little Monday gifts, snapshots, and all those sweet nothings that mean so much to me. My office is full of small things that create an “everything”, a place where I feel good, where it feels like home, safe and quiet…

And because I want to share, here are some of my treasures, a part of my office, of my private life, just for you guys…
