An Afternoon Paddle boarding

Last week Alix and I decided to try this new craze with paddle boarding! Miami has several places where you can rent paddle boards and enjoy a couple of hours of tranquil floating either in the ocean or in the canals. You might even spot a manatee…

Paula from Adventure Sports in Matheson Hammock gave us some pointers. She made it look so easy, but try paddling against the current … I guess that’s how you can develop your abs!

And off we drifted among the kite surfers, with the Miami skyline as our backdrop. Gorgeous!

Sunblock and a rash guard are a must in Miami’s hot sun. Pop on a pair of distressed jean shorts over your bikini and add a pair of sunglasses for a relaxed look.

Afterwards we lingered under the palms….

Alix let her hair air dry after combing through her favorite conditioner from Leonor Greyl.Don’t forget to bring your magazines, a cold drink (we love San Pellegrino’s pomelo) a straw hat and some lip balm and gloss. ( EOS in Honeysuckle Honeydew and Josie Maran lip gloss in Soledad)
