Miami has its own Ladurée!

Since February 24, Miami Beach has it’s own Ladurée! A jewel box like it’s other stores – NYC, London and the original Rue Royale in Paris! – Ladurée is located at 1118 Lincoln Road in Miami Beach.

Delighted to taste the famous 16 flavors of macarons, I recommend in no particular order and with no preference to try … the Marie Antoinette, Rose, Lemon verbena … well all of them! Your taste buds will also be captivated by delicious chocolates, langues de chat filled with white chocolate (a typically French cookie shaped like a cat’s tongue), or the delicate orangettes. The boutique offers all these exceptional products nestled in lovely colored and delicately designed boxes.They are also available in limited edition, so you can expand your collection with the Art Deco collector box! Ladurée’s candle scents are atypical and divine : brioche, strawberry, iris, marron glacé, spices …

Other important info, Ladurée will soon offer a terrace with thirty seats under the shade of our glorious Florida palm trees. You will be able to enjoy the famous speciality of the house : a glass of champagne with a crystallized violet nestled at the bottom of your glass. So chic!

Let’s talk about cooking …the freshness of the macarons is impeccable. Created in Paris and shipped the same day, the confections are stored in “hibernation” and gradually returned to room temperature. This means that two to three days after their manufacture, these macarons are ready to melt slowly in your mouth!

Another French treasure exported to Miami to my great happiness and certainly yours …

…Back at home with my pretty box – one more for my collection! I thought they went unnoticed, but my treasure was stolen and swallowed without precedent! Too bad I’ll have to return to Ladurée to make a small replenishment ….
